Community & charity
From Englewood Adopt-A-Family to Easter Seals and the Loveland Center of Venice, we put lodge dollars and lodge hours into Sarasota County organizations doing the hard work locally.
Sarasota County, Florida
We are the law enforcement officers who work and live in Sarasota County. Our mission is to foster a relationship between the residents and your law enforcement officers — and to look after the officers and families who serve them.
Our mission
Welcome to your local Fraternal Order of Police in Sarasota County, Florida. We are your local law enforcement officers — the same people you pass on Tamiami Trail and see at your kids' ball games.
Lodge 45 exists to grow a community of like-minded men and women who make a difference in the county we live in and serve. That means showing up for local families in crisis, funding college for our members' kids and grandkids, and standing behind officers and their families when they need it most.
What we do
Everything Lodge 45 does comes back to the same idea — that the badge and the neighborhood are on the same side.
From Englewood Adopt-A-Family to Easter Seals and the Loveland Center of Venice, we put lodge dollars and lodge hours into Sarasota County organizations doing the hard work locally.
Every year the lodge awards a college scholarship to the children and grandchildren of members in good standing. Funds go straight to the school.
A members-only network for the moments that don't make the news — a ride, a trade skill, a loaner walker, or somebody who has been there and will pick up the phone.
Who we help locally
Our giving stays close to home. These are the programs and partners Lodge 45 supports with donations, volunteer hours, and a presence at their events.
